At Bennett OT, we are a team of vibrant, passionate & energetic individuals committed to offering our broad range of highly specific skills and experience to help people overcome obstacles and truly live meaningful lives. We also work and collaborate closely with therapists, caregivers and other medical professionals, medical suppliers, hospitals, care homes and others to help utilize the strengths of the whole team in meeting our clients' goals.

Tobi Bennett
Founder & Occupational Therapist
Tobi started working in private practice in 2005, with the goal of offering high quality services to clients in need of timely and effective occupational therapy services. She quickly developed a passion for seating and mobility as she saw the potential for great impact on quality of life with proper wheelchair and seating prescriptions. As her passion continues to grow, she enjoys working as a team in the ongoing learning process of this ever-changing and developing industry. Tobi is happily married with two wonderful young adult children, and they enjoy the outdoors, hiking, playing games, and reading.

Melanie Pearson-Gauvin
Occupational Therapist

Melanie is a registered occupational therapist in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia with over 20 years of experience in various settings involving the private and public sector. She graduated with a bachelor of occupational therapy from Dalhousie University in 2001. Through the years she has developed a special interest in community health by enabling people to maximize their safety and independence at home. Originally from Newfoundland she has called Dieppe home for over 10 years. In her spare time she enjoys watching her kids play sports, hiking, watercolour painting and gardening.

Marnie Oatway
Occupational Therapist

Marnie graduated from the Occupational Therapy program at Dalhousie University in 2005. Since this time, she has been practicing OT throughout the country, working in BC, Alberta, and Nova Scotia. Marnie recently migrated back to her hometown of Moncton NB with her family. Marnie's background is diverse, working in various scopes of practice and sectors of care. At the center of it all, Marnie is passionate about integrating a collaborative, person-centered approach to help others meet their goals. Outside of her role as an Occupational Therapist, Marnie can be found enjoying time with her family and running on trails.

Amy McNair
Occupational Therapist

As an Occupational Therapist, Long-Term Care Consultant, and Educator, Amy is dedicated to helping adults maintain independence through personalized support plans, rehabilitation, and adaptive living solutions. She provides direct client care while also leading long-term care operations, enhancing caregiving standards, and advocating for improved access to services.
Passionate about empowering both clients and caregivers, Amy is committed to fostering compassionate, effective support. She believes that quality care begins with dignity, respect, and a person-centered approach, ensuring individuals receive the support they need to thrive.

Daniel McShane
Occupational Therapist

Dan graduated from Dalhousie University with his Master in Occupational Therapy in 2020 and began his career at The Moncton Hospital. After 2.5 years at The Moncton hospital Dan wished to expand his practice knowledge and joined Bennett Occupational Therapy in May 2023. Dan enjoys seeing the community side of occupational therapy and helping people to remain independent in their homes as long as possible. Outside of work, you can find Dan enjoying an active lifestyle, whether at the gym, the courts, fields, and anywhere in between.

Ivory Sesbino
Rehab Assistant

Ivory is dedicated to helping individuals achieve and maintain an optimal quality of life. With a background in healthcare, she has extensive experience providing care in hospital settings, private clinics, and home care. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy in 2010 in the Philippines before moving to Canada in 2016. Since then, she worked as a Rehab Assistant in a nursing home, supporting healthcare professionals with assessments, care planning, and interventions for residents.
In addition to her career, Ivory enjoys volunteering with a church group that supports the elderly. She is also a devoted wife and mother of two sons, with a love for music and dance as forms of relaxation and exercise.

Ehi Angela Unachukwu
Office Manager

Ehi is an experienced Human Resources practitioner with over 14 years of experience in Human Resources Management at multinational firms. She holds a Master’s degree in Management from Crandall University in Moncton and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of Lagos. Ehi oversees clinic operations, projects and administration. She is passionate about people and process management, business process improvement and leveraging technology solutions to enhance productivity. Beyond her professional commitments, Ehi enjoys reading, trying out new recipes and creating memories through various activities with her husband and two sons.
