We have highly qualified therapists who specialize in seating and mobility assessments to help make the process smoother, less complex and more efficient for you. Getting the proper evaluation and equipment trial can help improve your quality of life in so many ways, offering increased comfort, function, posture, balance and skin integrity to be able to thrive in your home and community.

Sometimes wheelchair, seating, and positioning needs are more complex and require more specialized assessment and prescription. We have a specialized seating clinic where we work as a highly qualified, creative, and experienced team to provide more complex prescriptions and custom molded seating. These services can make a huge impact on health and quality of life!

Dementia affects your ability to think, remember and make decisions, which can make everyday tasks challenging. Our highly qualified and experienced therapists can offer education and programs for facilities as well as individualized assessment and programs for individuals and families. A collaborative approach can help improve symptoms, increase function, safety, and independence, and empower care partners to increase their skills in working with individuals with dementia.

Our occupational therapists will work with you to help address obstacles that make participation in meaningful activities more challenging. We work with clients and families to identify what activities are important to them, help with daily planning and goal setting, teach practical coping methods, assess skills and interests, and identify strategies that can help improve meaningful engagement in self-care, productivity & leisure activities.

Our occupational therapists can complete home-based assessments that identify any barriers to safety and independence as well as potential areas of improvement in self-care, productivity & leisure. Recommendations to support aging in place and functioning at home will be provided. This can include adaptive equipment and/or home modifications that can help improve function, safety & accessibility.

Some clients can benefit from ongoing rehabilitation sessions to build, maintain, and/or improve skills needed to participate in the activities of daily living that are important to them. An occupational therapy assessment will help identify goals and priorities. Sessions can then focus on moving, thinking and social/emotional performance, transfers, mobility and/or wheelchair skills, as well as range of motion and physical strength.

Our occupational therapists can offer medical-legal assistance to lawyers. Comprehensive assessments and reports outline the functional effects of injury, equipment required both presently and long-term, and recommendations regarding projected assistance needed by care partners over their lifetime.
